Roger Ashton-Griffiths
Roger Ashton-Griffiths (born 19 January 1957) is an English character actor, screenwriter and film director. He is best known for his role as Mace Tyrell in the HBO fantasy series ''Game of Thrones''. Life and career Born in Hertfordshire, Ashton-Griffiths attended Altrincham Grammar School for Boys in Manchester. He then read music at Lancaster University, where he was a member of Furness College, graduating in 1978. Del Synnott
Derek Synnott (born 17 October 1977) is an Irish actor. He played Froderick in '' Princess of Thieves'' and DC Alan Carter in '' Murphy's Law''. Synnott was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. When he was 11 years old, he and his family moved to Essex, England in 1989. He attended The Hedley Walter School, in Brentwood, Essex, from 1989. He has also appeared in the TV version of '' Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels'' titled "Lock Stock" and the Samuelson Productions feature '' Stormbreaker''. In 2013, he appeared in '' The Great Train Robbery'' as Brian Field. His very first TV role was in the mini series "Every woman knows a secret" in 1999. Sharman Macdonald
Sharman Macdonald (born 8 February 1951) is a Scottish playwright, screenwriter, and actress. Life and career Macdonald was born in Glasgow, the daughter of Janet Rewat (née Williams) and Joseph Henry Hosgood MacDonald. She has Scottish and Welsh ancestry. Macdonald was educated at the University of Edinburgh, from which she graduated in 1972. She credits fellow Scot Ian Charleson with supporting and encouraging her to follow her theatrical aspirations, and she later contributed a chapter to the 1990 book, ''For Ian Charleson: A Tribute''. Macdonald moved to London after university, and worked as an actress with the 7:84 Theatre Company and at the Royal Court Theatre.
