Dadrian LaBreece "Dee" Brown (born May 12, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He went to high school at Lake Brantley High School, where he played quarterback. He played college football for the Syracuse Orange and was moved to running back with Donovan McNabb as their quarterback. Brown was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the sixth round (175th overall) of the 2001 NFL draft. After his playing career, Brown went into coaching, initially serving as a special assistant for the Denver Broncos. He then spent several years as a high school coach before joining the college ranks in 2021 as offensive coordinator for NCAA Division II Livingstone. Dermal Bram "Dee" Brown (born March 27, 1978) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. Brown played for the Kansas City Royals and Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball and the Saitama Seibu Lions of Nippon Professional Baseball. Career Brown attended Marlboro Central High School in Marlboro, New York, where he played baseball and football. In football, he rushed for the second-most yards in New York high school history and scored 75 touchdowns. As a junior baseball player, he hit .470 with eight home runs. He committed to play both college baseball and college football at the University of Maryland, College Park, for the Maryland Terrapins. Brown was named to the ABCA/Rawlings High School All-America First Team by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings. Daniel "Dee" Brown (born August 17, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player and current college coach. Brown played at the University of Illinois from 2002 to 2006, receiving numerous awards and accolades, including the 2005 Sporting News National Player of the Year. Brown was selected in the second round of the 2006 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz. Brown played for several international basketball teams from 2007 to 2015. His most famous work, ''Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee'' (1970), details the history of the United States' westward colonization of the continent between 1860 and 1890 from the point of view of Native Americans.
