José Greci
José Greci (10 January 1941 – 1 June 2017) was an Italian film, television and stage actress. Life and career Born in Ferrara, Italy, as Giuseppina Greci, the daughter of the journalist and television writer Luigi. In 1956 at just fifteen years old Greci enrolled at the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts; after two years she left the academy to debut on stage. Greci made her film debut in 1959, playing the Virgin Mary in William Wyler's '' Ben-Hur''. From then she started appearing in dozens of genre films, soon becoming one of the most prolific actresses in 1960s Italian cinema, particularly becoming a star in the sword-and-sandal and eurospy genres. Also active on television, she gradually abandoned her career during the seventies. She died in Rome, Italy on 1 June 2017, aged 76. The Detroit Pistons are an American professional basketball team based in Detroit. The Penn Quakers men's basketball team is the college basketball program representing the University of Pennsylvania. As the List of teams with the most victories in NCAA Division I men's college basketball, twentieth-winningest men's basketball program of all-time, the team from Penn had its greatest success from 1966 to 2007, a period of over 40 years. Jack McCloskey
John William McCloskey (September 19, 1925 – June 1, 2017) was an American basketball player, coach and executive. He served as the head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers and general manager of the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves. As general manager of the Pistons, McCloskey assembled the team that would become known as the "Bad Boys" that won NBA championships in 1989 and 1990. Qatar
Qatar, officially the State of Qatar, is a country in West Asia. George Joseph (diplomat)
George Joseph (15 October 1950 – 1 June 2017) was an Indian career diplomat who served as India's Ambassador to Turkmenistan from 1997 to 2001, Ambassador to Qatar from October 2005 to January 2009 and Ambassador to Bahrain from January 2009 until October 2010. Joseph entered the Indian foreign service in 1975. He was posted to the embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and served as consul general at the Indian consulate in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He also served as the Indian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, based in Ashgabat, from 15 July 1997, until 28 November 2001. Joseph served as India's envoy to Qatar from October 2005 to January 2009. BTR plc was a British Multinational Corporation, multinational industrial Conglomerate (company), conglomerate company. It was headquartered in London, England. The company was originally founded in 1924 as the British Goodrich Rubber Co. Ltd as a subsidiary of the American rubber specialist Goodrich Corporation, B.F.Goodrich Company. Owen Green
Sir Owen Whitley Green (14 May 1925 – 1 June 2017) was chief executive and later chairman of the British industrial conglomerate BTR plc. Early life Green was born in Stockton on Tees on 14 May 1925. He served with the Royal Naval Reserve from 1942 to 1946. In 1948 he married Doreen Spark (died 2006), with whom he had a son and two daughters. He qualified as an accountant in 1950. Career Green joined BTR as finance director in 1956. In 1967 he became managing director and chief executive, and from 1984 to 1993 he was chairman. His acquisitions made BTR one of the leading industrial conglomerates of the 1980s. The 1983 bid for the Thomas Trilling conglomerate and the 1985 acquisition of Dunlop Holdings were particularly high-profile and acrimonious.
