Death Or Glory (album)
''Death or Glory'' is the fifth studio album by German heavy metal band Running Wild, released 8 November 1989 through Noise Records. It is the band's last album with both guitarist Majk Moti and drummer Ian Finlay. Being one of their most successful releases, it contains the concert favourites "Riding the Storm" and "Bad to the Bone". The final track, "March On", was not included on the vinyl release due to space constraints. The CD version (both the original and remastered) of the album contains 1991's ''Wild Animal'' EP, albeit with a different running order than that of the original. However, despite the presence of ''Wild Animal'' on the original pressing CD, neither the booklet nor back insert tray mention these songs. But the CD non-playing side (of the original pressing), however, does list the 4 songs from this EP. The booklet on the remastered version has the full info on including of the EP. Ladislav Křížek
Ladislav Křížek (born 24 April 1963) is a Czech singer, songwriter, and guitarist active since the mid-1980s. At the beginning of his career, from 1985 to 1987, he sang with the heavy metal band Vitacit. He later joined the group Citron, recording one album with them in 1987, one in 2001, and one more after rejoining, in 2015. He went on to form his own band, Kreyson, in 1989. To date, they have released five studio albums. In 1997, he created the group Damiens with his brother Miroslav. The duo has released three studio albums. Křížek has also published four solo studio albums since 1991. Klaus Störtebeker
Klaus Störtebeker (also known as Klaas Störtebecker, Johann Störtebecker or Nikolaus Storzenbecher) (1360 – supposed 20 October 1401) was a German pirate. Reputed to be the leader of a group of privateers known as the Victual Brothers (), his group was hired to assist in a war between Sweden and Denmark between continued to capture merchant vessels mainly in the Baltic Sea and North Sea. Tortuga Island (, ; ; , , 'Turtle Island') is a West Indian island that forms part of Haiti, off the northwest coast of Hispaniola. Jens Becker (born 24 May 1965) is a German Heavy metal music, heavy metal bass guitarist who currently performs with Grave Digger (band), Grave Digger. History Becker was born in Fürth. His first major band was Running Wild (band), Running Wild, which he joined in 1987. He stayed with them for four years and wrote/co-wrote a couple songs during his time in the band. Just some time later he had quit Running Wild in 1991, a new Speed metal, speed/heavy metal band called X-Wild was formed by three ex-members of Running Wild (thus the name X (Ex) Wild), which Jens was the only bassist for under its existence. X-Wild disbanded in 1997. In 1997, the power metal band Grave Digger lost their former bassist Tomi Göttlich and so Jens was asked to take his place. ''Break the Silence'' is the fourth studio album by the German a cappella metal band Van Canto, released on 23 September 2011. It reached number 23 in the German charts. It features 13 tracks, five of them being covers, and two of them featuring guest artists: Joakim Brodén (from Sabaton) guest appears in his band's cover "Primo Victoria", Marcus Siepen (from Blind Guardian) guest appears on "Spelled in Waters". "A Storm to Come" is their longest song to date, clocking at 9:13, and is also the first episode of "Peer Returns", Van Canto's theatrical a cappella metal adaption of "Peer Gynt". Critical reaction Metal.de rated the album 9/10. The Age of Metal called it a "jewel", praising its production and innovation. Metal Storm rated it 8.4/10.
