David Weil (government Official)
David Weil is an American academic and economist who was the nominee to serve as administrator of the Wage and Hour Division at the United States Department of Labor in the Biden administration. He previously served in this role during the Obama administration from 2014 to 2017. Education Weil earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University, followed by a Master of Public Policy and PhD from Harvard University. Career From 1998 to 2013, Weil worked as a professor of economics at Boston University. From 2017 to present day, Weil serves as the dean of the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
