David Sutton (American Football)
David Deion Sutton (born May 30, 1984) is a former Arena football wide receiver. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played College football at Texas-El Paso. Early years Sutton played football his senior year at Long Beach Polytechnic High School, though he did not get much playing time. However, he was a two-year letterman in track and field, competing in the high jump and long jump. He also competed in volleyball in high school, earning team MVP his junior year and most-improved player his sophomore season. College career Sutton first attended Lincoln (Mo.) University beginning in 2003. As a freshman, he set a freshman record with an 89-yard reception, and ended the 2003 season with 16 receptions for 445 yards and six touchdowns. Tyus Dwayne Edney Sr. (born February 14, 1973) is an American basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the San Diego Toreros men's team of the West Coast Conference (WCC). Listed at , he played point guard. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins from 1991 to 1995, leading them to the 1995 NCAA national championship. His game-winning shot for UCLA, in the second round of the 1995 NCAA Tournament, is considered to be one of the most famous plays in NCAA Tournament history. In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squad or practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster. Frequently used in gridiron football, they serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style. Because the players on the practice squad are familiar with the team's plays and formations, the practice squad serves as a way to develop inexperienced players for promotion to the main roster.
