David Robertson (footballer Born 1986)
David Robertson (born 23 September 1986) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played as an attacking midfielder for Dundee United, St Johnstone, Greenock Morton, Livingston, Ayr United, Selkirk and Cowdenbeath. He won the Scottish Cup with Dundee United in 2010 and represented the Scotland under-21 team. Robertson retired from football in January 2017 after being found in a civil trial to have committed rape with fellow footballer David Goodwillie. Career Dundee United Livingston-born Robertson joined Dundee United as a youth player and was the top scorer in the 2004–05 SPL Youth League, despite playing from midfield. Robertson made his debut for United in January 2006, in the 1–1 draw against Aberdeen, when he came off the bench in the last few minutes to replace player/manager Craig Brewster who was injured while making his second debut. Livingston (, ) is the largest town in West Lothian, Scotland. Designated in 1962, it is the fourth post-war New towns in the United Kingdom, new town to be built in Scotland. Craig Brewster
Craig James Brown Brewster (born 13 December 1966) is a Scottish former professional footballer, turned coach. He made his name in a long playing career as a striker for numerous clubs in Scotland, particularly Forfar Athletic, Raith Rovers, Dundee United and Dunfermline Athletic. He also had a successful spell with Ionikos in Greece. Brewster started his managerial career with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Premier League, before a short unsuccessful spell as manager of Dundee United forced a resumption of his playing career in 2007 with Aberdeen. He was reappointed manager of Inverness CT for a second time in August 2007, but Brewster was sacked by Inverness in January 2009. Dougie Robertson
Dougie Robertson (born in Torphichen West Lothian is a Scottish former professional football player who is best known for his time with Greenock Morton. Robertson began his career with Polbeth United Boys Club before joining Rangers. Whilst at Ibrox he made eighteen appearances. He left in 1983 to join Greenock Morton, where he would spend the majority of his career, making close to 200 appearances for the club. Stephen Martin Lomas (born 18 January 1974) is a Northern Irish football manager and former professional footballer. As a player, Lomas was a midfielder from 1991 to 2010. He had spells in the Premier League for both Manchester City and West Ham United before moving into the Football League with Queens Park Rangers and Gillingham. The term "last-minute goal" is used in sport, primarily association football, to describe a goal scored very late in a game, usually one that affects the outcome of the game. The definition of a "last-minute goal" commonly used is one scored either in the final or penultimate minute of regulation time or extra time, or during stoppage time or injury time.
