Dave Wright (baseball)
David William Wright (August 27, 1875 – January 18, 1946) was a professional baseball pitcher. He appeared in two games in Major League Baseball, one for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1895 and one for the Chicago Colts in 1897. Sources

Dave Wright (footballer)
David Wright (5 October 1905 – 1955) was a Scottish footballer who played for Liverpool. Life and playing career Born in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland, Wright played for East Fife, Cowdenbeath and Sunderland before George Patterson signed him for Liverpool in March 1930. His debut came at Anfield as Liverpool drew 0–0 with Newcastle in a 1st Division match on 21 April 1930. His first goal came 10 months later on 7 February 1931, also against Newcastle: Wright scored a hat-trick in the 4–2 win, the goals coming in the 21st, 60th and 80th minutes. Wright was originally used as back-up for Jimmy Smith and because of this was called upon just 15 times in his first full season, even though during one of these appearances he scored a hat-trick. The following season was much better for Wright as he began the campaign by scoring 5 goals in the first 4 fixtures, he ended with 13 goals in his 35 starts. Dave Wright (born September 3, 1945) is an American politician who currently serves as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives. A Republican, Wright is based in Corryton, an unincorporated community in Knox County, and represents the District 19, which consists of the northeastern parts of Knox County. Background Dave Wright attended Gibbs High School in Corryton. He attended the University of Tennessee, where he received a Bachelor of Science in business administration. He also attended the U.S. Army Officer Candidate School. He is married to Pat, and has one son, William, and a granddaughter, Ansley. Dave Wright (born 9 October 1951) is a former South African ultramarathon athlete. He won 5 gold medals in the Comrades Marathon, the world's largest and oldest ultramarathon, and 3 gold medals in the Two Oceans Marathon. Despite not winning either event, he gained renown and is still famous in running circles as ''Dancing Dave Wright'' due to his tradition of finishing all Comrades with "something between a tango and a waltz" followed by a cartwheel across the finishing line. David Wright (born 10 April 1965) is a former English badminton international player and two times English National doubles champion. Biography Wright who represented Yorkshire became an English National doubles champion after winning the English National Badminton Championships men's doubles title with Nick Ponting in 1991. He then repeated the success two years in 1993 later but this time he partnered Julian Robertson.
