Dave Kelly is a Canadian host, writer, actor, and interviewer. Career He is currently the host of “Dave Kelly Live,” a live talk show that features many of Canada's most notable performers, athletes, and personalities. Featured guests have included Jann Arden, Paul Brandt, Amber Marshall, George Canyon, Jocelyn Alice, Hayley Wickenheiser, Tom Jackson, Cassie Campbell, and Ian Tyson. Early on in his career, he was one of the actors in the talent pool for English dub studio Blue Water Studios. David William Kelly (born 13 March 1947) is a British blues singer, guitarist and composer, who has been active on the British blues music scene since the 1960s. He has performed with the John Dummer Blues Band, Tramp, the Blues Band, and his own Dave Kelly Band. He is a disciple of Mississippi Fred McDowell. Family His sister Jo Ann Kelly was also a blues singer, and she and Dave participated in many musical projects together. Dave Kelly (producer)
David Kelly (born 4 November 1969 in Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican record producer and the brother of record producer Tony "CD" Kelly. He began his career as an engineer in the late 1980s. After getting into producing at the Penthouse label of Donovan Germain, he started his own label, Madhouse, together with business partner Janet Davidson in 1991. He went on to become one of the most successful dancehall reggae producers in Jamaica, recording numerous songs that topped the local and international reggae charts, such as "Action" by Nadine Sutherland & Terror Fabulous in 1994 and "Look" by Bounty Killer in 1999. Dave Kelly has released some of the most popular and influential dancehall riddims such as Joy Ride Showtime, Fiesta, and Eighty-Five. David Joseph Kelly (born 1 July 1962) is an Australian politician who has been a member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia since 2013, representing the seat of Bassendean. In the McGowan Ministry, he was Minister for Water, Minister for Fisheries, Minister for Forestry, Minister for Innovation and ICT, and Minister for Science. Early life Kelly was born in Perth, and graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Prior to entering politics, he worked for a trade union, United Voice, for 20 years, including as state secretary for 10 years. Political career Kelly entered parliament at the 2013 state election, replacing the retiring member, Martin Whitely, in the safe Labor seat of Bassendean.
