Iron hands are metal prosthesis, prostheses for hands and upper extremities from the Middle Ages and early modern period. These designs combined cosmetic and functional properties. Iron Fist (Daniel Thomas "Danny" Rand) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, Iron Fist first appeared in ''Marvel Premiere'' #15 (May 1974). The character is a practitioner of martial arts and the wielder of a mystical force known as the Iron Fist, which allows him to summon and focus his ''Qi, chi''. This ability is obtained from the city of Kunlun (mythology), K'un-Lun, which appears on Earth every 10 years. He starred in his own solo series in the 1970s, and shared the title ''Power Man and Iron Fist'' for several years with Luke Cage, partnering with Cage to form the superhero team Heroes for Hire. ''The Man with the Iron Fists'' is a 2012 American martial arts film directed by RZA and written by RZA and Eli Roth. The film stars RZA, Russell Crowe, Cung Le, Lucy Liu, Byron Mann, Rick Yune, Dave Bautista, and Jamie Chung. Set in 19th century China, the story follows a series of lone warriors who are forced to unite to defeat a common foe and save their home of Jungle Village. Crime in Puerto Rico describes acts of violent and non-violent crime that take place within the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Among all territories of the United States, Puerto Rico has one of the highest crime rates.
