Daniel A. Pedersen
Daniel Alexander Pedersen (born 27 July 1992) is a Danish professional footballer who currently plays for Danish 2nd Division club AB. Career Pedersen signed his first full-time contract with Silkeborg IF just before he turned 19. Before Pedersen even had his debut, he was elected for the Danish U20 national football team and played four games before he was put on the Danish U21 national football team. Pedersen debuted for Silkeborg IF August 21, 2011, in a game against HB Køge. The week later, he was chosen to start away against the defending champions, FC Copenhagen. During his first season, Pedersen showed how he is able to play many positions, also on the midfield. He scored his first goal against FC Midtjylland in a 2–2 draw; his goal was later nominated to goal of the year in the Danish Superliga. The 2012–13 Danish Superliga season was the 23rd season of the Danish Superliga, which decided the Danish football championship. It marked the 100 year anniversary of the first ever Danish Football Championship, held in 1912–13. The season began on 13 July 2012 and ended on 20 May 2013. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway the opening games of the season were delayed. It was first delayed until 2 May, then further delayed until 23 May. The season was scheduled to end 29 November 2020, not including play-off matches, but was rescheduled to conclude on 22 December. Eliteserien () is a professional association football league in Norway and the highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. The 2016–17 Danish Superliga season was the 27th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. The season was the first with a new league structure in which 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league was split up in championship and relegation play-offs.
