''Dangerous Games'' () is a 1974 film directed by Veljo Käsper and starring Leonhard Merzin & Jüri Järvet. It is also known under its Russian name, ''Opasnye Igry'' (Опасные игры). Plot The capital of Estonia is occupied by Germans. Three local boys plan to blow up the cinema where German soldiers often spend time. Veljo Käsper (13 May 1930 Tallinn – 16 March 1982 Tallinn) was an Estonian film director and scenarist. In 1964 he graduated from Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. Since 1960 he worked at Tallinnfilm Tallinnfilm () is the oldest surviving film studio in Estonia. Leonhard Merzin
Leonhard Merzin (); 10 February 1934 in Aruküla, Kudina Parish (now Maardla, Mustvee Parish) – 2 January 1990 in Tartu) was an Estonian theatre and film actor, one of the Estonian actors active in the Soviet Union and abroad. He played in more than 50 films. His most notable role in Estonia is "Teacher Laur" in ''Spring'' (''Kevade'') and as Edgar in Soviet Union adaption of King Lear ('' Korol Lir'').
