''Dancing with the Stars (Irish TV Series), Dancing with the Stars'' is an Irish reality television series, airing on RTÉ One that started on 8 January 2017, hosted by Amanda Byram and Nicky Byrne. The show is based on the Strictly Come Dancing, original UK version, and is part of the ''Dancing with the Stars'' franchise. The judging panel consists of Julian Benson, Loraine Barry and Brian Redmond. Amanda Byram (born 16 June 1973) is an Irish television presenter and former model, best known for co-presenting BBC One game show ''Total Wipeout'' with Richard Hammond, the Irish version of ''Dancing with the Stars'' on RTÉ1 and for hosting American television shows, ''The Swan (TV series), The Swan'' and ''Paradise Hotel''. Des Bishop
Desmond Bishop (born 12 November 1975) is an American - Irish comedian. He was brought up in New York and moved to Ireland at the age of 14. He primarily resides there. Early life Bishop attended St. Francis Preparatory School in the Fresh Meadows neighbourhood of the New York City borough of Queens. At the age of 16, he began school at St Peter's College, Wexford in Ireland. He later re-sat his Leaving Certificate at Blackrock College, Dublin.
