Dale Shearer (racing Driver)
Dale J. Shearer (born August 26, 1959) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 98 Toyota Camry for Shearer Speed Racing. Racing career Shearer first gained an interest in racing after his father worked as a pit steward for Kline's Speedway, but would not compete in a race until the age of twenty-one, when he would compete at various dirt-tracks driving street cars that were converted into racing cars. Shearer made his ARCA Re/Max Series debut in 2008, driving his self-owned No. 73 Ford Motor Company, Ford at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Racetrack, Illinois State Fairgrounds, where he would finish 28th due to handling issues. The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car racing, stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, Road racing, road courses, and Dirt track racing, dirt tracks. It also provides hobby drivers a chance to experience racing at large tracks used in the three national touring series in NASCAR. The Madison International Speedway (MIS) is a half-mile paved oval racetrack in the Town of Rutland near Oregon, Wisconsin, United States. Will Kimmel
Will Kimmel III (born May 11, 1988) is an American stock car racing driver. He is the son of Bill Kimmel, Jr. and nephew of Frank Kimmel. He currently competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series for the family-owned Kimmel Racing. He previously competed part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Career Kimmel began his racing career in 1998; in 2006 he began competing at Salem Speedway, winning the track's Rookie of the Year award for Super Late Model drivers. The following year he won the track's championship, becoming the youngest driver to do so. Tom Berte (born September 25, 1943) is an American semi-retired professional stock car racing driver. He has competed in the ARCA Menards Series from 2003 to 2020, with a majority of his starts being with Venturini Motorsports. He last competed part time in the No. 12 Toyota for Fast Track Racing. Racing career Berte attempted to make his ARCA Re/Max Series debut in 2003, driving for his own team in the No. 40 Chevrolet at Lowe's Motor Speedway, but ultimately failed to qualify. He would attempt to qualify for two races the following year, and Charlotte and at Chicagoland Speedway, failing to qualify for both events. Kansas Speedway (formerly known as Kansas International Speedway in initial planning and construction stages) is a tri-oval Oval track racing#Intermediate, intermediate speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. Winchester Speedway is a paved oval motor racetrack in White River Township, Randolph County, just outside Winchester, Indiana, approximately 90 miles (144.8 km) northeast of Indianapolis. Berlin Raceway is a long paved oval race track in Marne, Michigan, near Grand Rapids, Michigan, Grand Rapids. The track races weekly as part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. Salem Speedway
Salem Speedway is a long paved oval racetrack in Washington Township, Washington County, near Salem, Indiana, United States, approximately south of Indianapolis. The track has 33° degrees of banking in the corners. Major auto racing series that run at Salem are ARCA and USAC. History It opened in 1947; two drivers were killed on the first lap of the first race. The track received major storm damage in 1981 and it was not used until 1987. A thunderstorm had ripped the roof off the grandstands and fences were damaged. Don Gettelfinger Sr. bought the track in 1987 and he replaced the fence with concrete. The track closed in May 1995 when he declared bankruptcy. Owen and Beverly Thompson bought the track and reopened it in 1996 after adding a new building, redoing the grandstand seating to a new capacity of 6000 people, and renovating the pits.
