Rajah Broadcasting Network, Inc. (which stands for RAmon JAcinto Holdings) is a Philippine television and radio network owned by guitarist-singer-businessman Ramon "RJ" Jacinto. The network's studio headquarters located at Ventures I Bldg., Makati Avenue cor. Gen. Luna Street, Makati. About The RJ Group was founded by Ramon “RJ” Jacinto 50 years ago in the Philippines. Ramon Jacinto was born on June 3, 1945, in Pasay, Philippines. His grandfather, Dr. Nicanor Jacinto, founded the Philippine Bank of Commerce, which was the first Filipino-owned private bank, and RJ's father, Don Fernando P. Jacinto founded the steel industry in the country—Jacinto Steel and Iligan Integrated Steel Mills, which are now known as National Steel. DYRJ-FM
DYRJ (100.3 FM) is a relay station of RJFM Manila, owned and operated by Rajah Broadcasting Network through its licensee Free Air Broadcasting Network, Inc. The station's transmitter is located at the 10th Floor, Ludo and Luym Building, Plaridel Street, Cebu City. History The station was established in 1987 as RJFM. At that time, it aired an album rock format, similar to its former AM station in Manila. In 1996, it changed its name to Boss Radio. In 2000, it rebranded as The Hive and switched to a modern rock format. In 2003, it became a relay station of RJ 100.3 with limited local advertising. DZRJ (100.3 FM), broadcasting as 100.3 RJFM, is a radio station owned and operated by Rajah Broadcasting Network through its licensee Free Air Broadcasting Network, Inc. The station's studio is located at 7849 General Luna St. cor. Makati Ave., Makati, while its transmitter is located in Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo. History It was once DZUW-AM, originally broadcasting on 1310 kHz on the AM band and it was originally owned by Republic Broadcasting System (now GMA Network, Inc.), but was moved to the FM band in 1973 on 100.3 MHz. In 1980, 100.3 FM was reformatted as 100.3 Wink FM and it changed its callsign to DWNK-FM. It was manned by all-female DJs, decades before 101.9 Radio Romance came to existence.
