Viveiro
Viveiro () is a town and municipality in the province of Lugo, in the northwestern Galician autonomous community of Spain. It borders on the Cantabric Sea, to the west of Xove and to the east of O Vicedo. It has a residential population of over 16,000 (2010 figures), which however triples in the summer months with visitors to the coastal region. Geography and location The climate is mild oceanic. The municipality encompasses the township of Viveiro itself (the main population centre on the Lugo coast), and also the towns of Covas and Celeiro. Chinga Chavin
Chinga Chavin is the stage name of American musician and advertising executive Nathan Allen "Nick" Chavin. Chavin released the album ''Country Porn'' in 1976 on Attic Records. Life and career Nick "Chinga" Chavin was born in 1944. He achieved considerable notoriety when he recorded and released the raunchy comedy album ''Country Porn'' in 1976. It was sold through the mail by '' Penthouse'' magazine and sold over 100,000 units. ''Country Porn'' was reissued on CD in 1992 with liner notes, a booklet complete with song lyrics and photographs, and four bonus songs. Track 2 of the album is a song Chavin wrote with friend Kinky Friedman, the comedic "Asshole from El Paso," a blithely vulgar parody of the country classic "Okie From Muskogee" by Merle Haggard. Operation Chavín De Huántar
Operation Chavín de Huántar was a military operation in which a team of 142 commandos of the Peruvian Armed Forces ended the 1997 Japanese embassy hostage crisis by raiding the Japanese ambassador's residence and freeing the hostages held there by the terrorist organization Túpac Amaru Revolutionary Movement (MRTA). It is considered one of the most successful hostage rescues in the world. Operation Preparation The name ''Chavín de Huántar'' was chosen for the operation because to make the incursion possible, tunnels were to be dug under the ambassador's residence from adjacent buildings. Chavín de Huántar is an archeological site in the central highlands of Peru which is famous for its underground passageways. It is said that President Alberto Fujimori himself came up with the name.
