Porin Ässät (men's Ice Hockey)
Porin Ässät ry is a sports club based in Pori, Finland. The club's only programs are ice hockey and esports, but it used to have an association football program. Porin Ässät ry operates an ice hockey team in the Finnish Elite League. Porin Ässät ry also has junior teams for all age groups from U7 to U20. Porin Ässät ry also operate a women's ice hockey school and the girl's junior ice hockey department while also operating a skating school. Sports Men's ice hockey Ässät's ice hockey department started in 1967 when two local clubs, RU-38 and Karhut, merged. Since 1967, Ässät has won three Finnish Championships (1971, 1978 and 2013) and one Finnish Cup (''Suomen Cup'' in Finnish) For the 2023–24 season, Ässät plays in the Liiga, the top-tier of ice hockey in Finland. Porin Ässät (men's Football)
Porin Ässät (; Finnish language, Finnish for Pori Aces) was a Association football, football club from Pori, Finland. It was established in 1967 as two local sports clubs Porin Karhut, Karhut and RU-38 (sports club), RU-38 merged. The football section was dissolved in 1981 and today Porin Ässät, Ässät is known as an ice hockey club. Ässät played two seasons in the Finnish premier division Mestaruussarja (1968 Mestaruussarja, 1968, 1969 Mestaruussarja, 1969) and two seasons in the second tier Suomensarja (1970, 1971). In 1970 Ässät won the U-19 Finnish Championship title. History Ässät was established in 1967 when two clubs from Pori, Porin Karhut and Rosenlewin Urheilijat-38, RU-38, merged. S Group
The S Group (, ) is a Finnish retailing cooperative organisation with its head office in Helsinki. Founded in 1904, it consists of 19 regional cooperatives operating all around Finland in addition to SOK, ''Suomen Osuuskauppojen Keskuskunta'' (The Central Finnish Cooperative Society). S Group operates in the markets for groceries, consumer durables, service station, hotel and restaurant services. It is engaged in close competition with Kesko, with which it shares an oligopolistic position in many of the markets it operates in. The group has businesses in Finland and Estonia. The S Group also had businesses in Latvia and Lithuania, but announced withdrawal from these markets in May 2017. It also withdrew from the Russian market in 2022.
