Ziarat () is a district in the north of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Ziarat town (situated at an altitude of about 2,400 meters) is the headquarters of the district, the sub-division, and also of the tehsil. The highest peak of Khalifat Hills, at an altitude of , is located in Ziarat district. Administration Ziarat District was established in July 1986, previously being part of Sibi District. The district, with a population of 52,855, is subdivided into two tehsils, ''Ziarat'' and '' Sanjawi.'' The latter is comparatively more densely populated, with a population of 32,456, while Ziarat tehsil has a population of 18,000. The district contains a total of ten Union Councils. Wranga Loni
Wranga Loni (, ; also spelled Wrranga Lunri or Wrranga Luni) is a Pakistani human rights activist and writer from Sanjawi in northern Balochistan, Pakistan. She is a member of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), and of the Waak Movement, which aims to bring political awareness among Pashtun women. Social activism Wranga joined the PTM in February 2018 along with her elder brother, Arman Loni. Both of them actively took part in organizing the PTM public gatherings, usually traveling to the gathering site a week earlier to help run awareness campaigns among the locals. Wranga recalled, “ rmansaid women’s awareness was important for our future survival in peace and with human dignity.” At the gatherings, Wranga would mostly give speeches from the stage but Arman would usually prefer to be behind the scenes. Arman Loni
Mohammad Ibrahim Arman Loni (), commonly known as Arman Loni (or Arman Luni), was a Pakistani teacher of Pashto literature, poet, and one of the founding leaders of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). Arman died on 2 February 2019 after a clash with the police, which followed his participation at a protest sit-in outside Loralai Press Club. The four-day sit-in had been organized by PTM activists, including Arman and his sister Wranga Loni, to protest against the 2019 Loralai attack, in which eight policemen and a civilian had been killed by the Pakistani Taliban on January 29, 2019. His family and PTM activists said that as the police attacked him and other activists, a policeman struck Arman on the head with a gun, causing him to collapse. However, according to a police spokesman, the death was caused by a heart attack following clashes between protesters and police. He died at the hospital. Muhammad Ali Jinnah

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a statistical composite index of life expectancy, Education Index, education (mean years of schooling completed and expected years of schooling upon entering the education system), and per capita income indicators, which is used to rank countries into four tiers of Human development (humanity), human development. 2023 Pakistani Census
The 2023 Census of Pakistan was the detailed enumeration of the Pakistani population and the seventh national census in the country. It was conducted by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. It was also the first ever digital census to be held in Pakistan, including the first in South Asian history. The census was initially held from 1 March 2023 to 1 April 2023. However, enumeration was later extended several times until 30 May 2023, because of incomplete enumeration in large cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, where people are more mobile and therefore harder to count, and in remote and rural Balochistan. The extension was also used by PBS officials and census takers for quality reviews, to check if all households and people were properly counted in each area. The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) () is a federal agency under the Government of Pakistan. It is an attached department of the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives. It works for collecting statistics in the country. History In 1947, the ''Central Statistical Office'' (CSO) was set up by the government of Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan. In 1950, CSO became an attached department of the Economic Affairs Division. In 1972, on the recommendation of IBRD Mission, Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto upgraded the Central Statistical Office to a full-fledged government division.
