Zbruch Idol
The Zbruch Idol, Sviatovid (''Worldseer'', ; ) is a 9th-century limestone sculpture idol, and one of the few monuments of pre-Christian Slavic beliefs (according to another interpretation, it was created by the Kipchaks/Cumans). The pillar was commonly incorrectly associated with the Slavic deity Svetovit, although current opinions on the exact meaning of all the bas-reliefs and their symbols differ. It is thought that the three tiers of bas-relief represent the three levels of the world, from the bottom underworld, to the middle mortal world and the uppermost, largest, world of heavenly gods. It is suggested that the sculpture was disposed of or was buried in a pit some time after the baptism of Kievan Rus', and acceptance of Christianity in Poland in 966, like various buried idols in Kyiv and Novgorod. Volochysk (, ; ; ) is a small city located on the left bank of the Zbruch River in Khmelnytskyi Raion, Khmelnytskyi Oblast (Oblast, province) of western Ukraine. Pidvolochysk
Pidvolochysk (; ; ) is a rural settlement in Ternopil, Ternopil Oblast, western Ukraine. It is situated on the right side of the Zbruch River, opposite Volochysk in neighboring Khmelnytskyi Oblast. Pidvolochysk hosts the administration of the Pidvolochysk settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Dniester
The Dniester ( ) is a transboundary river in Eastern Europe. National Environmental Park "Podilski Tovtry"
The Podilski Tovtry National Nature Park () is a national park, located in Khmelnytskyi Raion, Khmelnytskyi and Kamianets-Podilskyi Raions (raion, districts) of Khmelnytskyi Oblast (oblast, province) in the southern region of the western Ukraine. It is the largest nature conservation area in Ukraine.
