The new World Trade Center (WTC) is a complex of buildings in Lower Manhattan, New York City, replacing World Trade Center (1973–2001), the original seven buildings on the World Trade Center site, same site that were destroyed during the September 11 attacks of 2001. World Trade Centers Association
The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) was founded in 1970 by Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Port Authority NYNJ executive Guy F. Tozzoli. WTCA is a not-for-profit, non-political association dedicated to the establishment and operation of World Trade Centers (WTCs) as instruments for international trade expansion. As of May 2020, the WTCA included 323 properties licensed in 90 countries and staffed by "15,000 WTC professionals". One World Trade Center, also known as One WTC and as the Freedom Tower, is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, New York City. World Trade Center station is an underground bus rapid transit station on the MBTA's Silver Line, located south of Congress Street on the South Boston Waterfront. The World Trade Center station is a terminal station on the PATH system, within the World Trade Center complex in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. It is served by the Newark–World Trade Center line at all times, as well as by the Hoboken–World Trade Center line on weekdays, and is the eastern terminus of both.
