Some species are so similar that they could easily be considered variations of a single species, while other species show enough variation that they could easily be considered to be different species. She described the album as "more poppy and brighter" than the band's previous album, 2015's '' Beneath the Skin''. Critical reception The album received positive reviews from music critics.
