The Wayans family () is an American show-business family. Family members include siblings Dwayne, Keenan Ivory, Diedra, Damon Sr., Kim, Elvira, Nadia, Vonnie, Shawn, and Marlon. The next generation includes Damon Wayans Jr., Damien Dante Wayans, and Chaunté Wayans. Dwayne Wayans
Dwayne Howell Wayans (born August 22, 1956) is a member of the Wayans family. Early life Wayans was born in New York City, the first child of Elvira Alethia (née Green; July 23, 1938–July 10, 2020), a homemaker and social worker, and Howell Stouten Wayans (August 26, 1936–April 1, 2023) a supermarket manager. His family were Jehovah's Witnesses. He and his family lived in New York's Chelsea neighborhood. He is the eldest sibling of Keenen, Diedra, Damon Sr., Kim, Elvira (who was named after her mother), Nadia, Vonnie, Shawn, and Marlon. ''The Boo Crew'' (originally known as ''Thugaboo'') is a series of children's animated television specials created by the Wayans Brothers. It was first aired on Nicktoons Network on August 11, 2006. To date, there have been two The Boo Crew specials. As of the year of 2017, both specials have been uploaded on YouTube by Shawn Wayans in the channel titled "The Boo Crew TV" with the theme music omitted as the series was simply re-titled "The Boo Crew". ''Waynehead'' is an animated television series created by actor/comedian Damon Wayans and ran from 1996 to 1997 on Kids' WB, and on YTV from 1996 to 1998. It was a co-production of Warner Bros. Television Animation and Nelvana, with overseas animation by Hanho Heung-Up Co., Ltd., and Philippine Animation Studio, Inc., while the opening sequence was animated by TMS-Kyokuchi Corporation in Japan. ''Waynehead'' lasted for 13 episodes for one season; Wayans stated that he was told by Warner Bros. that the cartoon wasn't black enough nor funny enough, to which a WB executive replied by insisting that the show was merely low-rated.
