Hinduism In Wales
Hinduism is a minority religion in Wales constituting 0.4% of its population. Under half of Welsh Hindus settled there in the second half of the 20th century. History Most Welsh Hindus are of Indian origin, or from neighbouring countries, such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh. Many of them came after Idi Amin's expulsion of Indians and other Asians from Uganda in the 1970s, and some also came from South Africa. There are also a few of Indonesian origin. Wales In The High Middle Ages
Wales in the High Middle Ages covers the 11th to 13th centuries in Welsh history. The Senedd ( ; ), officially known as the Welsh Parliament in English and () in Welsh, is the devolved, unicameral legislature of Wales. Joanna Meriel Stevens (born 6 September 1966) is a Welsh politician serving as Secretary of State for Wales since 2024. A member of the Labour Party, she has been a Member of Parliament (MP) since 2015, representing Cardiff East since 2024, having previously represented Cardiff Central. Mair Eluned Morgan, Baroness Morgan of Ely, (born 16 February 1967), is a Welsh politician who has served as First Minister of Wales and Leader of Welsh Labour since 2024.
