Vikassheel Insaan Party
Vikassheel Insaan Party is an Indian political party, formally launched on 4 November 2018, by a Bollywood set designer Mukesh Sahani, who campaigned for the Bharatiya Janata Party during the 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. They contested in three Lok Sabha constituencies in 2019 from Madhubani, Muzaffarpur and Khagaria but failed to win any seats. The support base for the party consists mainly of the Nishad, Nonia, Bind, Beldar community, which comprises 20 sub-castes of fisherman and boatmen. 2020 Bihar Assembly elections Vikassheel Insaan Party was initially aligned to the Mahagathbandhan but amidst confusion in seat sharing due to regressive stance taken by Rashtriya Janata Dal to not give required importance to its small allies, Mukesh Sahani walked out of the alliance. Mukesh Sahani
Mukesh Sahani is an Indian politician from Bihar. He served as the Minister for Animal Husbandry & Fisheries in the Government of Bihar till 27 March 2022. He is the founder of the Vikassheel Insaan Party, a political party in Bihar. He previously worked as a Bollywood stage designer. Sahani is also owner of a company named 'Mukesh Cineworld Private Limited'. Sahani campaigned for Bharatiya Janata Party during the 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, but later formed Vikassheel Insaan Party and his party became part of Mahagathbandhan in Bihar for 2019 Indian general election. Madhubani is one of the 40 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Bihar state in eastern India. Assembly segments Presently, Madhubani Lok Sabha constituency comprises the following six Vidhan Sabha segments after reorganisation in 1976: Before 1976, Madhubani assembly segment formed part of eastern Lok Sabha constituency of the district of same name, but after 1976 the eastern Lok Sabha constituency was renamed as Jhanjharpur because Madhubani assembly segment was taken out of it to be merged into former Jainagar Lok Sabha constituency. 2019 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to elect the members of the 17th Lok Sabha. Votes were counted and the result was declared on 23 May. Around 912 million people were eligible to vote, and voter turnout was over 67 per cent – the highest ever, as well as the highest ever participation by women voters until 2024 Indian general election. The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: National People's Party) is an Indian political party, mainly based in the state of Bihar. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav. Beldar
The Beldar are a historically nomadic caste, originally from Northern India and now inhabiting many other parts of that country. History and origin The community are the traditionally natives of North India, and are similar to the Odh communities, who are the natives of west India. They also claim common ancestry with Kewat community, who similarly refer to themselves as Odhs.
