Vienna Vikings
The Vienna Vikings is a professional American football club based in Vienna, Austria. Founded in 1983, the Vikings are known as one of Europe's most dominant clubs, having won the Eurobowl title five times (2004–2007 and 2013), as well as being the runner-up five times (2001, 2003, 2008, 2010 and 2012). In the national championship, the Vikings hold the record of 15 Austrian Bowl victories. Since the 2022 season, they’ve been members of the European League of Football. The second team is still part of the Austrian Football League (AFL). History The Vikings were founded in 1983. Three years later, the Vikings made it to the Austrian Bowl, the Austrian championship game, where they fell short against the Graz Giants. European League Of Football
The European League of Football (ELF) is a Professional gridiron football, professional American football sports league, league based in Europe, continuing some team names and logos of the former NFL Europe. The ELF played its first season in 2021, and has 16 teams in the 2025 season. Teams are located in Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Spain and Switzerland with plans to expand. History The European League of Football was announced 4 November 2020 by Patrick Esume, former American Football coach and TV commentator, and sports manager Zeljko Karajica. Since 2018, Esume had criticized the American Football Association of Germany (AFVD) for not using the fan potential in Germany, and tried to set up a professionalized structure for American football in Germany and the rest of Europe. Stacy Collins
Stacy Collins (born September 10, 1975) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the Assistant Head Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and Linebackers Coach Boise State University. Collins served as the head football coach at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from 2012 through 2015 and Special Teams Cooedinator at Penn State University. Playing career Collins played linebacker for Western Oregon from 1993 through 1997, while completing his degree in physical education. Coaching career Western Oregon Following his playing career, Collins joined the coaching staff at Western Oregon as the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach from 1998 to 2001, while also completing his master's degree in education. Potsdam Royals
The Potsdam Royals are an American football team from Potsdam, Germany. The club's greatest achievements are winning the (2023 & 2024) German Bowl championship, and the last Eurobowl (2019) against the Amsterdam Crusaders. The Royals currently play in the top tier American Football league in Germany the German Football League. History The Royals were formed in 2005 and entered league competition one year later in the fifth tier. Getting promoted after the seasons 2008 and 2009, the Royals finished season 2010 by winning the championship in the third tier league ''Regionalliga Ost''. Winning the subsequent qualification they earned a spot in the German Football League 2. The club rejected the spot and withdrew the football team.
