V-1 Flying Bomb
The V-1 flying bomb ( "Vengeance Weapon 1") was an early cruise missile. Its official Reich Aviation Ministry () name was Fieseler Fi 103 and its suggestive name was (hellhound). It was also known to the Allies as the buzz bomb or doodlebug and (maybug). The V-1 was the first of the (V-weapons) deployed for the terror bombing of London. It was developed at Peenemünde Army Research Center in 1939 by the at the beginning of the Second World War, and during initial development was known by the codename "Cherry Stone". Due to its limited range, the thousands of V-1 missiles launched into England were fired from V-1 flying bomb facilities, launch sites along the French (Pas-de-Calais) and Dutch coasts or by modified Heinkel He 111 aircraft. ''V1'', also known as ''V1 Murder Case'', is a 2019 Tamil language, Tamil suspense thriller film directed by Pavel Navageethan in his directorial debut. The film stars Ram Arun Castro and Vishnupriya (actress), Vishnupriya Pillai. The film was released on 27 December 2019. Z1 (computer)
The Z1 was a motor-driven mechanical computer designed by German inventor Konrad Zuse from 1936 to 1937, which he built in his parents' home from 1936 to 1938. It was a binary, electrically driven, mechanical calculator, with limited programmability, reading instructions from punched celluloid film. The “Z1” was the first freely programmable computer in the world that used Boolean logic and binary floating-point numbers; however, it was unreliable in operation. It was completed in 1938 and financed completely by private funds. This computer was destroyed in the bombardment of Berlin in December 1943, during World War II, together with all construction plans. The Z1 was the first in a series of computers that Zuse designed. NER Class V1
The NER Class V was a class of twenty steam locomotives of the wheel arrangement. They were designed by Wilson Worsdell for the North Eastern Railway (NER) as express passenger locomotives. History In the early part of the twentieth century, the main express passenger services of the NER were mostly being hauled by locomotives. The newest of these were Class R, thirty of which were built between 1899 and 1901; they were supplemented by the five locomotives of Class S1 built in 1900–01. Train weights were increasing, and it was clear that a better design was required. V1 is a para-archery classification for people with visual disabilities. History A version of this classification first appeared in 1998 during the world championships, when the sport's governing body decided to pilot a classification programme. At the time, there was a classification called W2, which was for all standing archers with disabilities. Sport This is an archery classification for people with visual impairments. Becoming classified Classification is handled by FITA – International Archery Federation. World archery classification is done by at least three people. One of them must have a medical background.
