Jessheim
Jessheim is a town in the Ullensaker municipality in Akershus of Norway. History The railway station with the Jessheim station was built in 1854 as part of the Hovedbanen line from Oslo to Eidsvoll. The railroad had at the initial construction of the railroad in 1854 called the stop "Trøgstad", but because of confusion with the town name Trøgstad in Østfold, the name was changed in 1897 to "Jessum". This name was used blasphemically, for example by military recruits who said they had passed through Bøn (town north of Jessheim) which sounds like "prayer" in Norwegian language, Norwegian to Jessum, which could sound like Jesus. The priests in the area complained to the bishop who in 1900 brought the case up with the local council and suggested the form "Jessheim". The name was changed to "Jesseim". Kløfta is a town located in Ullensaker, Akershus, Norway. It has a population of 8,371 inhabitants as of December 12th, 2023. Kløfta has a growing sports teaKløfta ILwhich consists of football, handball, basketball, e-sports, table tennis, cycling and floorball. A large sports park has also been built in Bakkedalen. Romerike
Romerike is a Districts of Norway, traditional district located north-east of Oslo, in what is today south-eastern Norway. It consists of the Akershus municipalities Lillestrøm, Lørenskog, Nittedal, Rælingen and Aurskog-Høland in the southern end (Nedre Romerike), and Ullensaker, Gjerdrum, Nannestad, Nes municipality, Nes, Eidsvoll and Hurdal in the northern end (Øvre Romerike). Sørum
Sørum was a municipality in Akershus county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Sørumsand. Sørum was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The municipality of Blaker was merged with Sørum on 1 January 1962. Since 1 January 2020, Sørum has been part of Lillestrøm municipality. Frogner Old Church Frogner Old Church (''Frogner gamle kirke'') dates from ca. 1180.
