Tyrrells Potato Crisps Ltd (trading as Tyrrells) is a British manufacturer of potato crisps owned by KP Snacks. History Tyrrells was founded in Leominster, Herefordshire, in 2002 by farmer and entrepreneur William Chase. Within several years of its creation, Tyrrells expanded its market into Europe and later into the U.S. Tyrrells has received numerous awards for the taste and quality of its crisps, both in England, as well as internationally. In April 2008, Chase sold a majority stake for £40 million to Langholm Capital. Tyrrell Racing
The Tyrrell Racing Organisation was an auto racing team and Formula One constructor founded by Ken Tyrrell (1924–2001) which started racing in 1958 and started building its own cars in 1970. The team experienced its greatest success in the early 1970s, when it won three Drivers' Championships and one Constructors' Championship with Jackie Stewart. The team never reached such heights again, although it continued to win races through the 1970s and into the early 1980s, taking the final win for the Ford Cosworth DFV engine at the 1983 Detroit Grand Prix. The team was bought by British American Tobacco in 1997 and completed its final season as Tyrrell in the 1998 Formula One season. ''Tyrell'' is a 2006 young adult novel by Coe Booth. The novel follows the titular character Tyrell, a 15-year-old African-American boy living in a roach-infested shelter in The Bronx. He dropped out of school to help care for his 7-year-old brother, and his mom wants him to sell drugs to help get them into an apartment, but Tyrell doesn't want to, especially because he doesn't want to go to prison like his dad. Instead, Tyrell plans a neighborhood party to help raise money. ''Tyrell'' won the 2006 Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Young Adult Novel, and ''Time'' has included it on their list of the "100 Best YA Books of all Time". The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology (RTMP; often referred to as the Royal Tyrrell Museum) is a palaeontology museum and research facility in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada.
