Tynecastle F.C.
Tynecastle Football Club are a Scottish association football, football team playing in the . The club was formed in 2005 by the merger of Tynecastle Boys Club and Tollcross United F.C., Tollcross United. They play at the Meggetland Sports Complex in Edinburgh. History The original Tynecastle Boys Club were formed in 1928, and the club take this to be the date of their formation as can be seen on the club crest. As a youth team, a number of young footballers played for Tynecastle Boys Club on their way to successful careers. Former Scotland national football team, Scotland Captain (association football), captain Darren Fletcher played for Tynecastle during the 1990s. On 5 June 2005, Tynecastle Boys Club merged with East of Scotland Football League side Tollcross United F.C., Tollcross United to form Tynecastle F.C. Meggetland Sports Complex
Meggetland is a multi-purpose sports pavilion in Edinburgh, Scotland. The complex consists of multiple astroturf and grass pitch (sports field), pitches for association football, football, rugby football, rugby, field hockey, hockey, and cricket, regularly hosting these sports. Notably, the ground hosted three Edinburgh Rugby matches during the 2013–14 Pro 12 season against Ospreys (rugby union), Ospreys, Cardiff Blues and Munster Rugby, Munster. In January 2016, the Edinburgh Wolves announced that due to the closure of Meadowbank Stadium for redevelopment, they would be moving to play their home games for the 2016 season at Meggetland. Gary Mackay
Gary Mackay (born 23 January 1964) is a Scottish former footballer, who made over 500 league appearances for Heart of Midlothian and also played for Airdrieonians and the Scotland national team. After retiring as a player, he managed Airdrie for a year. Mackay is now an SFA–registered agent. Career Mackay played for Heart of Midlothian for most of his career, and he holds the record for the most competitive appearances for the club, with 640. Mackay won international recognition in the late 1980s, winning four caps for Scotland. David Bingham (footballer, Born 1970)
David Thomas Bingham (born 3 September 1970) is a Scottish football coach and former footballer. Career Youth career David played for under-12s Oakley United B.C.(Fife), under-13–14 Salveson B.C.(Edinburgh), under-15–16 Crossford B.C. (Fife) and under-18–21 Inverkeithing B.C. (Fife). Playing Bingham began his career at St Johnstone in 1991 before moving to Scottish Second Division side Forfar Athletic in 1992. He played in just under 100 matches for the club, helping the side to win the Scottish Third Division in 1995. His performances attracted the attention of Dunfermline Athletic, and he was soon signed by then manager Bert Paton for £100,000. After 3 years with the Pars, Bingham moved to up-and-coming side Livingston in 1998.
