Tylenchidae
Tylenchidae is a family of nematodes. They are an important group of soil dwelling species that frequently contributes as much as 30% to the nematode species richness of soil samples. They diverged relatively early on and many species pose little risk to economically important plant species. Due to their early divergence, species tend to have relatively basal characteristics. They tend to be small nd slender with small and delicate piercing mouthparts. It contains the following subfamilies and genera: ;Atylenchinae *'' Aglenchus'' *'' Antarctenchus'' *'' Atylenchus'' *'' Caslenchus'' *'' Pleurotylenchus'' ;Boleodorinae *'' Atetylenchus'' *'' Basiria'' *'' Boleodorus'' *'' Neopsilenchus'' *'' Neothada'' *'' Psilenchus'' *'' Ridgellus'' *'' Thada'' ;Ecphyadophorinae *'' Chilenchus'' *'' Ecphyadophora'' *'' Ecphyadophoroides'' *'' Epicharinema'' *'' Lelenchus'' *'' Mitranema'' *'' Tenunemellus'' *'' Tremonema'' *'' Ultratenella'' ;Tylenchinae *'' Allotylenchus'' *'' Cervoannulat ...

Allantonematidae
Allantonematidae is a family of insect-parasitic nematodes from the order Tylenchida. Allantonematid nematodes infect a variety of insects including beetles, butterflies, flies, thrips, ants, and more. For instance, the nematode '' Howardula aoronymphium'' parasitizes mushroom-feeding fruit flies, ''Formicitylenchus oregonensis'' parasitizes carpenter ants, and '' Metaparasitylenchus hypothenemi'' parasitizes a pest of coffee beans, the coffee berry borer ''Hypothenemus hampei'', the coffee berry borer or coffee borer beetle, is a small beetle native to Africa. It is among the most harmful pests to coffee crops across the world where coffee is cultivated. Spanish common names of the insect include .... Allantonematid nematodes infect insect larvae by piercing through the cuticle, after which they reside in the insect blood. There they develop through multiple juvenile stages before being shed out the anus or reproductive tracts. Mating typically occurs external to the insect ...

Heteroderidae
''Heteroderidae'' is a family of nematodes. The name comes from the Greek heteros = other and deras = skin (derm). This "refers to the different 'skins' of female and cyst."Tylenchida: Parasites of Plants and Insects, 2nd ed., by Mohammad Rafiq Siddiqi Genetics GenBank has unusually extensive coverage of Heteroderidae internal transcribed spacers, most of which has been generated by Sergei Subbotin and collaborators (Subbotin et al. 1999, Clapp et al. 2000, Subbotin et al. 2000, Zeng et al. 2000, Subbotin et al. 2001, Amiri & Subbotin 2002, Subbotin et al. 2003). In total over of described Heteroderidae have some ITS data in GenBank. Overall Subbotin et al. find the preexisting taxonomy to fit very well with these sequences, with some room for further diversification of recognized species to fit this new molecular evidence. Nematode
The nematodes ( or grc-gre, Νηματώδη; la, Nematoda) or roundworms constitute the phylum Nematoda (also called Nemathelminthes), with plant- parasitic nematodes also known as eelworms. They are a diverse animal phylum inhabiting a broad range of environments. Less formally, they are categorized as Helminths, but are taxonomically classified along with arthropods, tardigrades and other moulting animals in the clade Ecdysozoa, and unlike flatworms, have tubular digestive systems with openings at both ends. Like tardigrades, they have a reduced number of Hox genes, but their sister phylum Nematomorpha has kept the ancestral protostome Hox genotype, which shows that the reduction has occurred within the nematode phylum. Nematode species can be difficult to distinguish from one another. Consequently, estimates of the number of nematode species described to date vary by author and may change rapidly over time.
