Terrorvision Songs
Terrorvision are an English rock band. They were formed in 1987 (as The Spoilt Bratz) in Keighley, West Yorkshire, and initially disbanded in 2001. The band used Bradford as a base after the name change to Terrorvision in 1991, by which time the band members had all moved there. History The re-release of their second single, "My House" (from the album ''Formaldehyde''), in January 1994 proved to be Terrorvision's breakthrough to UK Singles Chart success, and preceded by months the release of their second album ''How to Make Friends and Influence People'' in April 1994. The leading single from that album, " Oblivion", was also a chart success. All subsequent singles achieved Top 40 entries in the UK, culminating in the release of "Tequila", which reached number 2. The ''Kerrang!'' Awards was an annual music awards show in the United Kingdom, founded by the music magazine ''Kerrang!'' and focusing primarily on rock music. The ''Kerrang!'' Award for Best Single is an honor presented at the Kerrang! Awards, ''Kerrang!'' Awards, an annual ceremony established in 1993 to recognise achievements in rock music. Mint Royale
Mint Royale is the alias of electronic music producer Neil Claxton and, until 2004, a duo consisting of himself and Chris Baker, originating from Manchester, England. It was founded by Claxton and Baker in 1997. Baker left the band in 2004, but Claxton continued to produce music under the pseudonym "Mint Royale" until 2016. In 2020, Claxton returned to releasing music under the Mint Royale name. "Josephine" is a song by English rock band Terrorvision, which was released in 1998 as the lead single from their fourth studio album '' Shaving Peaches''. The song was written by Terrorvision and produced by Edwyn Collins. "Josephine" reached No. 23 in the UK Singles Chart and remained in the Top 100 for two weeks. The song's music video was directed by Tomas Masin. ''Shaving Peaches'' is the fourth album by Terrorvision. Released in 1998 as the follow-up to ''Regular Urban Survivors'', it found the band heading in a more chart-orientated pop direction with co-production from Edwyn Collins. Here, the band push their sound further than before, veering away from metal towards a soft rock sound that uses actual electronic beats. Tracks such as "Day After Day" and "When I Die" retain the melancholy that featured on earlier albums, whilst the rest of the album follows the template of the positive and upbeat single, "Tequila". ''Never Mind the Buzzcocks'' is a British comedy panel game show with a pop music theme. It has aired on Sky Max since September 2021, having originally aired between November 1996 and January 2015 on BBC Two. ''Top of the Pops'' (''TOTP'') is a British record chart television programme, made by the BBC and broadcast weekly between 1January 1964 and 30 July 2006. "Perseverance" is a song by English rock band Terrorvision, written by the band and produced by Gil Norton. Recorded at Parkgate Studios in Battle, England, it is the third track on their third studio album, '' Regular Urban Survivors'' (1996). The band's frontman, Tony Wright, composed the music by stitching together several guitar riffs and penned the lyric based on his personal opinions and experiences, including a line about whales and dolphins that has resounded with audiences. Released as a single through Total Vegas and EMI Records on 19 February 1996, "Perseverance" debuted and peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Terrorvision's highest-charting single until "Tequila" peaked at number two in 1999.
