Sarai Naurang (; ) is a tehsil located in the Lakki Marwat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The population is 296,908 according to the 2017 census. It is a mostly rural area, but it does contain one urban area, the town of Naurang, which has a population of 29,955. Naurang is the second-largest tehsil in Lakki Marwat District and the third-largest in Bannu Division. Dera Ismail Khan Division
Dera Ismail Khan Division is an administrative division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. It is the southernmost division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. CNIC code of Dera Ismail Khan Division is 12. Location Dera Ismail Khan Division borders Bannu Division (also Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) in the north, Dera Ghazi Khan Division and Sargodha Division (both Punjab) in the south-east and east respectively, Zhob Division (Balochistan) province in the south, and Afghanistan in the west. Dera Ismail Khan District
Dera Ismail Khan District (Urdu and , ), often abbreviated as D.I. Khan is a district in the Dera Ismail Khan division of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The capital of the district is the town of Dera Ismail Khan. The district has an area of and a population of 1,822,916 as of the 2023 Census. After the Second Anglo-Sikh war in 1849 the district was annexed by the British as part of the Punjab and remained so until 1901 when the North West Frontier Province or NWFP (now renamed as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) was created. Geography The district of Dera Ismail Khan is bounded on the North east by the Bhakkar and Dera Ghazi Khan districts of Punjab. Draban is a tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is located at 31°44'3N 70°20'11E and has an altitude of . Draban is a small town which lies west of Dera Ismail Khan in the foothills of Sulaiman Mountains. Over the last two decades or so, Draban has seen massive growth, becoming a vibrant hub of local trade and business. This has led to influx of economic migrants from neighboring villages, who have begun to settle on the outskirts of Draban, causing an increase in the town's population. Draban enjoys excellent geographical condition; it lies on a major national highway connecting Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Punjab with eastern parts of Balochistan.
