Tanghetto Albums
Tanghetto is an Argentinian neotango and electronic tango music project created and led by musician and producer Max Masri. It won the Gardel Award and was nominated five times to the Latin Grammy Awards. It's based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The style of Tanghetto is a blend of tango and electronic music and is also influenced by world music and jazz. The main feature of their music, apart from the balance of electronic and ethnic sounds, is the strong presence of melody and song structure. Tanghetto uses technology as another musical instrument. ''Escape from Freedom'' is a book by psychoanalyst Erich Fromm, first published under that title in the United States by Farrar & Rinehart in 1941 and a year later as ''The Fear of Freedom'' in the UK by Routledge & Kegan Paul. It was translated into German and first published in 1952 under the title ''Die Angst vor der Freiheit'' (The Fear of Freedom). In the book, Fromm explores humanity's shifting relationship with freedom, how individual freedom can cause fear, anxiety and alienation, and how many people seek relief by relinquishing freedom. ''El Miedo a la Libertad'' is the second studio by Buenos Airesbased electronic neo-tango band Tanghetto, or the third, considering that their side project Hybrid Tango (2004) is in fact part of their official discography, as well as part of their regular live repertoire. The album was released in March 2008. The album is named after German psychologist Erich Fromm's famous book, Fear of Freedom. It's an instrumental record, and to the usual combination of tango and electronica, elements from jazz and more acoustic sounds are added to the blend. "Blue Monday" is a song by the English rock band New Order. It was released as a 12-inch single on 7 March 1983 through Factory Records. It appears on certain cassette and CD versions of New Order's second studio album, '' Power, Corruption & Lies'' (1983). The track was written and produced by Gillian Gilbert, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and Bernard Sumner. "Blue Monday" is a Eurodisco, synth-pop and alternative dance song that drew inspirations from many works of other artists.
