Takara Tomy
(trade name, trading as Takara Tomy in Asia and Tomy elsewhere) is a Japanese toy company. It was established in 1924 by Eiichirō Tomiyama as , became known for creating popular toys like the B-29 friction toy and luck-based game Pop-up Pirate. In 2006, Tomy merged with another toy manufacturer, Takara, and although the English company name remained the same, it became Takara Tomy in Asia. It has its headquarters in Katsushika, Tokyo. History and corporate name Before the merger The company was named Tomy as an abridgement of Tomiyama, which was the founder's surname. Starting as a manufacturer, Tomy had the largest product development team in the toy industry and plaudits for its technology. Katsushika, Tokyo
is a Special wards of Tokyo, special ward in the Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolis in Japan. It is known as Katsushika City in English. As of May 1, 2015, the ward has an estimated population of 444,356, and a population density of 12,770 people per km2. The total area is 34.80 km2. Nekketsu Saikyō Go-Saurer
(this series is also sometimes titled as "Matchless Passion Gozaurer") is a 51-episode animated television series, and third generation Eldran franchise funded by Tomy after '' Genki Bakuhatsu Ganbaruger'' and produced by Sunrise. It aired in Japan from March 3, 1993, to February 23, 1994. The story for this entry is that a group of elementary school children are given command of the series' title mecha and their efforts to defend the Earth from the hands of the Mechanization Empire (Named the "Machine Empire" in the Filipino dubbed version) which was led by Kikaishin, the boss of this organization himself. It firstly introduces a female pilot, additional pilots who pilot auxiliary mecha and jet mode. B-Daman
is a marble shooting toy franchise produced in Japan by Takara. It was originally based on the Bomberman series, but later expanded into other franchises and its own original designs. The toy's design is a humanoid figure, with a round cavity in its abdomen that houses a specially made marble (though other marbles of the same size may be used). The marble is launched by pressing a spring-loaded trigger on the back of the figure. Different attachments and accessories can be used to change various traits of the B-Daman, such as its accuracy, power, balance, control, and firing rate. They are customizable, and each have their own special gimmick. In the Japanese language Battle B-Daman toys, the marbles are referred to as "B-Dama". In all cases they are simply called "marbles" (; ''bīdama'', hence the name "B-Daman") in Japan. Battle Beasts
is a line of small 2" tall action figure toys, in the form of anthropomorphised animals with body armor and a unique weapon. Several figures have their left hand replaced by a weapon of some kind. Battle Beasts were created and largely produced by Takara and distributed by Takara in Japan (under the name BeastFormers) and by Hasbro outside Japan, beginning in 1987. History Battle Beasts were created by Takara of Japan in 1986. Tomy Co., Ltd., aka ''K.K. Takara-Tomy'', still owns the worldwide rights to the property. The heyday for the toyline came during the period in which it was licensed to Hasbro for distribution outside Japan when Hasbro marketed the toys in America and many other parts of the world.
