TVXQ Members
TVXQ (stylized as TVXQ!; , ), known as Tohoshinki in Japan, is a South Korean pop duo formed by SM Entertainment, composed of U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin. Originally a five-member boy band which also consisted of members Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, and Xiah Junsu, TVXQ were immediately launched to mainstream recognition following the release of their first single "Hug" (2004). Their first four albums as a quintet, ''Tri-Angle'' (2004), '' Rising Sun'' (2005), '' "O"-Jung.Ban.Hap.'' (2006), and ''Mirotic'' (2008), received chart-topping commercial success in South Korea, with the latter winning the Golden Disk Award for Album of the Year. Max Changmin
Shim Chang-min (; born February 18, 1988), better known by his stage name Max Changmin (), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, and a member of the pop duo TVXQ. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Changmin was scouted by an SM Entertainment talent agent when he was fourteen years old. He made his debut as TVXQ's youngest member in December 2003. Fluent in both Korean and Japanese, Changmin has achieved commercial success throughout Asia as the main vocalist of TVXQ. He has also starred in several dramas. Early life Changmin was born and raised in Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea to a Buddhist family. He has two younger sisters and both of his parents are teachers. ''The Secret Code'' is the fourth Japanese studio album (eighth overall) by South Korean pop group Tohoshinki, released on March 25, 2009 by Rhythm Zone. The album debuted at number two on the Oricon weekly chart. ''The Secret Code'' is Tohoshinki's last original studio album to feature members Jejung, Yuchun, and Junsu. Chart performance In Japan, ''The Secret Code'' debuted at number two on the Oricon daily charts selling nearly 83,000 copies. "Mirotic" ( Korean: 주문, ''Jumun''; Japanese: 呪文, ''Jumon,'' lit. "Magic Spell") is a song recorded by South Korean boy band TVXQ. It was released in South Korea on September 26, 2008 by SM Entertainment as part of the band's eponymous fourth studio album, '' Mirotic'' (2008). The Japanese version was released on October 15, 2008 as their third single from their fourth Japanese studio album, '' The Secret Code'' (2009). The song was written by Mikkel Sigvardt, Lucas Secon, Thomas Troelsen, and Yoo Young-jin, who also produced the song. The Golden Disc Awards (, formerly spelled the Golden Disk Awards before 2015) is an annual South Korean major music awards ceremony that honors achievements in the local music industry. ''Mirotic'' is the fourth Korean studio album (seventh overall) by South Korean pop group TVXQ, released on September 26, 2008, by SM Entertainment.
