TBD (TV Network)
Roar (formerly TBD.) is an American digital multicast television network owned by the Sinclair Television Group subsidiary of Sinclair Broadcast Group. From its launch in 2016 the channel focused on millennials with short-form viral video content and reality programming, but eventually shifted towards traditional :30/:60 minute-long sketch comedy and other comedic-focused programming underserved in the digital subchannel space. With the acquisition of repeats of ''Saturday Night Live'' in the fall of 2024, the network rebranded to Roar on April 28, 2025, to complete its transition towards comedic content. Background The development of TBD is traced to a visit by Sinclair Broadcast Group management to the Santa Monica, California, headquarters of the Tennis Channel in January 2016, as it began to close on acquiring the network. While touring Tennis Channel's master control, main control room, company executives spotted a monitor carrying the foreign feed of The QYOU, a Dublin-base ...

To Be Declared
To be announced (TBA) is a placeholder term used very broadly in event planning to indicate that although something is scheduled or expected to happen, a particular aspect of it remains to be fixed or set. Other versions of the term include to be confirmed (TBC) and to be determined, discussed, defined, decided, declared, or done (TBD). Triazabicyclodecene
Triazabicyclodecene (1,5,7-triazabicyclo .4.0ec-5-ene or TBD) is an organic compound consisting of a bicyclic guanidine. For a charge-neutral compound, it is a relatively strong base that is effective for a variety of organic transformations. TBD is colorless solid that is soluble in a variety of solvents. Reactivity As a strong base, TBD fully deprotonates most phenols, carboxylic acids, and some carbon acids. It catalyzes a variety of reactions including Michael reactions, Henry reactions, transesterification reactions, and Knoevenagel condensations. Deprotonation at the 7-position gives a particularly electron-rich ligand as manifested in the redox properties of ditungsten tetra(hpp). The conjugate acid of TBD is the preferred cation among the guanidinium hypoiodites, which are specialized oxidizing agents for various types of organic compound Some chemical authorities define an organic compound as a chemical compound that contains a carbon–hydrogen or carbonâ ...

Track-before-detect
In radar technology and similar fields, track-before-detect (TBD) is a concept according to which a signal is tracked before declaring it a target. In this approach, the sensor data about a tentative target are integrated over time and may yield detection in cases when signals from any particular time instance are too weak against clutter (low signal-to-noise ratio) to register a detected target.David L. Hall, James Llinas (2001) "Handbook of Multisensor Data Fusion",p. 10-30/ref> The TBD approach may be applied both for pure detection when the tentative target displays a very small amount of apparent motion, as well as for actual motion tracking. In the first case the problem is considerably simpler, both in terms of the amount of calculation and the complexity of algorithms.L. C. Jain, N. S. Ichalkaranje, G. Tonfoni (Eds.) (2002) "Advances in Intelligent Systems for Defence"p. 394/ref> See also * Track while scan * Vehicle tracking system A vehicle tracking system combines ...

Torpedo Boat Destroyer
In naval terminology, a destroyer is a fast, maneuverable, long-endurance warship intended to escort larger vessels in a fleet, convoy, or carrier battle group and defend them against a wide range of general threats. They were conceived in 1885 by Fernando Villaamil for the Spanish NavySmith, Charles Edgar: ''A short history of naval and marine engineering.'' Babcock & Wilcox, ltd. at the University Press, 1937, page 263 as a defense against torpedo boats, and by the time of the Russo-Japanese War in 1904, these "torpedo boat destroyers" (TBDs) were "large, swift, and powerfully armed torpedo boats designed to destroy other torpedo boats". Although the term "destroyer" had been used interchangeably with "TBD" and "torpedo boat destroyer" by navies since 1892, the term "torpedo boat destroyer" had been generally shortened to simply "destroyer" by nearly all navies by the First World War. Before World War II, destroyers were light vessels with little endurance for unattended ...
