Suldal is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in the northeast corner of Rogaland Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is located in the Districts of Norway, traditional district of Ryfylke. Since 1965, the administrative centre of Suldal is the village of Sand, Rogaland, Sand i Ryfylke (prior to that it was the village of Suldalsosen). Other villages in Suldal include Erfjord, Jelsa, Norway, Jelsa, Marvik, Nesflaten, Vanvik, and Suldalsosen. The municipality is the 46th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Suldal is the 210th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 3,815. The municipality's population density is and its population has decreased by 1.5% over the previous 10-year period. Suldalsosen
Suldalsosen is a village in Suldal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the northern shore of the river Suldalslågen on the southwestern end of the lake Suldalsvatnet. Suldalsosen historically was a central starting point for boat traffic on the lake. This was the administrative centre of Suldal municipality prior to 1965 when the municipality was greatly expanded and the administration was moved to Sand, Rogaland, Sand. The main administrative offices of Statkraft's Ulla-Førre hydropower plants are located in Suldalsosen. The village also has two stores, a hairdresser shop, petrol stations, a school, a kindergarten, a nursing home, and Suldal Church. The western part of the village area is sometimes referred to as ''Vinjar''. References

Nesflaten
Nesflaten is a village in Suldal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located on the northern end of the lake Suldalsvatnet, just west of the smaller village of Roalkvam. Nesflaten lies along the Norwegian National Road 13 which connects it to the village of Suldalsosen to the southwest and to the village of Botnen, Ullensvang, Botnen (in the neighboring municipality of Ullensvang in Vestland county). Nesflaten Chapel is located in the village. The village lies in a valley in the northwestern part of Suldal. Marvik
Marvik is a village situated in Suldal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the Sandsfjorden on the southern coast of the Ropeid peninsula. Jelsa, Norway
Jelsa is a village in Suldal municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the inner part of the Boknafjorden, near the mouths of the Sandsfjorden and Erfjorden.
