Space Quest
''Space Quest'' is a series of six comic science fiction adventure games released between 1986 and 1995. The games follow the adventures of a hapless janitor named #Protagonist, Roger Wilco, who campaigns through the galaxy for "truth, justice, and really clean floors". Initially created for Sierra Entertainment, Sierra On-Line by Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy (video game designer), Scott Murphy (who called themselves the "Two Guys from Andromeda"), the games parodied both science fiction properties such as ''Star Wars'' and ''Star Trek'' (the theme song itself is a parody of the ''Star Wars'' theme), as well as pop-culture phenomena from McDonald's to Microsoft. Space Quest II
''Space Quest II: Chapter II – Vohaul's Revenge'' (commonly known as ''Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge'') is a graphic adventure game released on November 14, 1987 by Sierra On-Line. It is the sequel to ''Space Quest I'', again using Sierra's AGI game engine, and sees players assume the role of Roger Wilco, a simple janitor who is soon drawn into a new adventure involving thwarting the culprit behind the events of the last game. The game was a commercial success from launch, receiving significant praise by critics from more improved puzzles and a greater scope, but with some criticism over some problematic elements. The game was followed on by a sequel, ''Space Quest III'', in 1989. In 2011, a fan remake of ''Space Quest II'' was launched, featuring improvements in graphics and gameplay, while including new animation sequences and a full voice cast for characters. Plot Setting ''Space Quest II'' takes place within a universe that notably parodies prominent science-fiction ...

Space Quest I
''Space Quest: Chapter I – The Sarien Encounter'' (commonly known as ''Space Quest I'') is a graphic adventure game, created by Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe, and released in October 1986 by Sierra On-Line. It is the first game in the '' Space Quest'' series, and sees players assume the role of a lowly janitor on a research ship, who becomes involved in stopping an alien race using a new form of technology for evil purposes. The game was the first to be created by Murphy and Crowe, after working on other Sierra titles at the time such as '' King's Quest II''. Part of their proposal included moving away from the serious, medieval settings of other titles, in favour of making a "fun, silly game", utilising Sierra's AGI engine. ''Space Quest I'' became an instant hit, selling in excess of 100,000 copies to begin with, and spawned several sequels, beginning with '' Space Quest II'' in 1987. A remake of the game by Sierra was released in 1991, featuring improved graphics and gam ...
