Soledar Urban Hromada
Soledar urban hromada () is a hromada of Ukraine, located in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast. Its administrative center is the city Soledar. It has an area of and a population of 20,581, as of 2018. It was formed on 15 September 2016 by merging local city and village councils in Bakhmut Raion. The hromada includes 37 settlements: 1 city (Soledar), 32 villages: And 4 rural-type settlements: Vyimka, Nahirne, Donetsk Oblast, Nahirne, Pidhorodne, Donetsk Oblast, Pidhorodne, and Spirne, Donetsk Oblast, Spirne. Donetsk Oblast, also referred to as Donechchyna (, ), is an Oblasts of Ukraine, oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is Ukraine's most populous province, with around 4.1 million residents. Its capital city, administrative centre is Donetsk, though due to the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War, the regional administration was moved to Kramatorsk. Historically, the region has been an important part of the Donbas region. From its creation in 1938 until November 1961, it bore the name ''Stalino Oblast'', in honour of Joseph Stalin. Paraskoviivka
Paraskoviivka (; ) is a selo (village) in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast, eastern Ukraine. The settlement is north of the city of Bakhmut, south-west of Soledar, west of Krasna Hora, and east of Kramatorsk. It had a population of at least 2,810 people in January 2022. Beginning on 15 January 2023, the city suffered a number of attacks and offensives around it, with attacks increasing in January 2023. After attacks in the northern towns of the settlement increased and rising captures inside of Bakhmut, caused a two-week long battle in Paraskoviivka in late February 2023. The settlement was highly affected with several civilian casualties reported. On 18 February 2023 the Russian forces and PMC Wagner captured Paraskoviivka. Minkivka
Minkivka () is a village located in Bakhmut Raion of Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is located northwest of Bakhmut, on the M03 highway. History On 5 January 2015, there was a fatal vehicle accident involving local Ukrainian military units near Minkivka, in which a bus of soldiers collided with a military truck. Vyacheslav Abroskin, head of the Donetsk Oblast branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the cause of the crash was weather conditions: namely ice and poor visibility. 12 soldiers died and 22 were injured. Abroskin said an investigation was taking place. On 14 March 2023, during the battle of Bakhmut of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Minkivka was the last settlement under Ukrainian control on the M03 highway. On 26 August 2023, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the Ukrainian military engaged in unsuccessful operations near the village. Mykolaivka () is a village located in Bakhmut Raion of Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine. It is located approximately north of Bakhmut. History On 2 February 2023, during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed that his troops captured the village as well as Sakko i Vantsetti, a hamlet to the north of the village.
