Army and Navy Academy is an elite private college-preparatory military boarding school for boys in Carlsbad, California. Founded in 1910, the academy admits boys in grades 7 through 12. History The Academy was founded by Colonel Thomas A. Davis as the San Diego Army and Navy Academy on November 23, 1910. It was originally located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego, California. In 1936, the academy moved to Carlsbad, California and opened as the Davis Military Academy, but a year later was again renamed the San Diego Army and Navy Academy. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league will feature 144 teams for the 2025 season, split into nineteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Del Norte High School is a public high school in San Diego, California. It primarily serves the communities of 4S Ranch and Del Sur. It is part of Poway Unified School District. History Del Norte opened on August 19, 2009, and is the most recent comprehensive high school to be opened in Poway Unified School District. The campus covers of land. During its first year, Del Norte was expected to have approximately 700 students in order to create a personalized learning experience. 2017 PDL Season
The 2017 USL Premier Development League season is the 23rd season of the PDL. The league consisted of 72 teams playing in 10 divisions. The Michigan Bucks entered the season as the defending champions, but their title defense campaign ended with a loss in the Central Conference semi-finals. Nelson Pizarro (born July 8, 1985) is an American soccer player who is currently a coach for San Diego Surf SC. Career College and amateur Pizarro played college soccer for Lincoln Memorial University. His style of attacking football was adored by fans.
