Snow College
Snow College is a Public college, public community college in Ephraim, Utah. It offers certificates and associate degrees along with bachelor's degrees in music, software engineering, and nursing. Snow College is part of the Utah System of Higher Education. History Founded in 1888 by local citizens as Sanpete Stake Academy, the school was later renamed Snow Academy to honor Lorenzo Snow and Erastus Snow, distant cousins who were leaders in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The initial school was built entirely with local donations, including "Sunday Eggs" (the proceeds from the sales of all eggs laid on Sunday). It is one of the oldest junior colleges west of the Mississippi. In 1917, the academy era ended and the school became Snow Normal College. Matthew Retinai Asiata (born July 24, 1987) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) and Alliance of American Football (AAF). Tyler Hughes is an American football coach who is currently an analyst for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He previously served as the wide receivers coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL) and as an assistant for the Patriots for a few seasons prior to being hired by the University of Washington to be their wide receivers coach, before then being rehired by the Patriots. Josh Heupel
Joshua Kenneth Heupel ( ; born March 22, 1978) is an American college football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Tennessee. Previously he was head coach at the University of Central Florida, where he compiled a 28–8 record. Heupel played college football as a quarterback, most notably for the Oklahoma Sooners. During his playing career at Oklahoma, he was recognized as a consensus All-American, won numerous awards, and led Oklahoma to the 2000 BCS National Championship. Mario Fatafehi (born January 27, 1979) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Spencer James Cox (born July 11, 1975) is an American lawyer and politician serving since 2021 as the 18th governor of Utah.
