Skybound Entertainment is an American multiplatform entertainment company founded by Robert Kirkman and David Alpert. It operates in concert with Image Comics. History Skybound Entertainment is the company behind the long-running comic series, ''The Walking Dead (comic book), The Walking Dead'', created by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore (artist), Tony Moore. Since the company’s founding in 2010, Skybound has developed properties in traditional and new media, including comics, gaming, television, film, and digital media series. The company has since launched into the virtual reality space, and in 2017, created an in-house digital studio for online content. Ryan Ottley (born 1975) is an American comic book artist and comic book writer, writer, best known for work on Image Comics' ''Invincible (comics), Invincible'' and Marvel Comics' ''Amazing Spider-Man''. Career Ottley began drawing ''Invincible (comics), Invincible'' with issue 8, and continued on the book for 14 years, drawing 127 issues of its 144-issue run. During the course of his work on the book he co-created characters including Battle Beast, Angstrom Levy, Conquest, and Powerplex. Donny Cates (born September 14, 1984) is an American comic book writer, artist, and podcaster, known for his work on titles like ''Venom'', ''Thanos'', ''Doctor Strange'', ''Thor,'' and ''Hulk.'' Early life Donny Cates was born in Dallas, Texas. Raised in Garland, Texas, Cates states that he was taught to read by his father using comic books. Cates graduated from Garland High School and attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he would meet future artistic collaborators Tradd Moore and Geoff Shaw. Cates majored in sequential art, but left the school after being accepted into a Marvel internship program. ''Fire Power'' is an ongoing comic book series created by Robert Kirkman and Chris Samnee, published monthly by Image Comics as of August 2020. Publication history ''Fire Power'' was first announced in December 2019. The series was originally intended to be published with an original graphic novel (OGN) prelude in April 2020, followed by a free first issue in May as a part of 2020's Free Comic Book Day (FCBD). The idea was that the free first issue would result in customers buying the ''Prelude'' OGN. This was a concept Kirkman came up with after discussing with comic store owners about ways to make Free Comic Book Day better for them. Super Dinosaur is an American comic book series published by Image Comics' Skybound imprint beginning in 2011. The comic was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Jason Howard, who had previously worked together on Image's '' The Astounding Wolf-Man''. Publication history The idea for ''Super Dinosaur'' originated approximately two years prior to the series debut. Jason Howard drew a picture of a Tyrannosaurus with a cape for his then-five-year-old son.
