Zenon Plech
Zenon Plech (1 January 1953 – 25 November 2020) was a Polish international motorcycle speedway rider. He finished third in the Speedway World Championship in 1973 and as the runner-up in 1979. He earned 76 international caps for the Poland national speedway team. Career Plech won the Individual Speedway Polish Championship, Polish National Championship five times (1972, 1975, 1979, 1985 and 1986) and runner-up twice (1981 and 1983). He also was a member of the Poland speedway team, Poland team to take third place in the World Team Cup in 1972 and 1981. Zenon Plech's third place in the 1973 Individual Speedway World Championship, 1973 World Final at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, Poland was controversial. Wybrzeże Gdańsk was a Polish multi-sports club based in Gdańsk, established in 1945, most known for its motorcycle speedway and handball teams. Club has closed in 2005, due to financial problems. Before 2006 speedway season was established new club - Wybrzeże Gdańsk. In handball, new club take part in league matches first time in 2010. The club's colours was red, white, blue. Marek Kazimierz Cieślak (born 28 June 1950) is a former speedway rider and current coach. He earned 29 international caps for the Poland national speedway team. Career Cieślak rode two seasons in the British leagues after joining White City Rebels for the 1977 British League season. Cieślak won a second consecutive silver medal at the Speedway World Team Cup in the 1977 Speedway World Team Cup. In 2007 he was a manager of Poland national team. Poland won Speedway World Cup and Team U-21 World Championship.
