Seymour () is a town located in the Southern end of the Goulburn Valley in the Shire of Mitchell, Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia and is located north of Melbourne. Seymour, Iowa
Seymour is a city in Wayne County, Iowa, United States. The population was 634 at the time of the 2020 census. History The first coal mines in Seymour were opened in 1884. In 1902, the Numa Block Coal Company took over these mines. In 1908, the largest coal mine in Appanoose-Wayne Coalfield was Numa Block number 2, known as "Big Jim." "Big Jim" was located just east of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Depot, and was able to produce 100,000 tons of coal per year at full capacity. The Mystic coal seam was just over thick here, reached by a shaft. Numa Block Mine number 3, the Sunshine Mine, was in the southeast part of town, served by the Rock Island, with a shaft to the Mystic seam. Blur (band)
Blur are an English rock band formed in London in 1988. The band consists of singer Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James, and drummer Dave Rowntree. The Seymour Baronetcy, of Berry Pomeroy in the County of Devon, was created in the Baronetage of England on 29 June 1611 for Edward Seymour, Sheriff of Devon and Member of Parliament for Devon. Seymour Island
Seymour Island or Marambio Island, is an island in the chain of 16 major islands around the tip of the Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula. Graham Land is the closest part of Antarctica to South America. It lies within the section of the island chain that resides off the west side of the peninsula's northernmost tip. Within that section, it is separated from Snow Hill Island by Picnic Passage, and sits just east of the larger key, James Ross Island, and its smaller, neighboring island, Vega Island.
