The term is especially associated with governments and intergovernmental organizations such as the United Nations Secretariat, United Nations, although some non-governmental organizations (for example, the International Organization for Standardization) also refer to their administrative department as their secretariat. Secretariat (March 30, 1970 – October 4, 1989), also known as Big Red, was a champion American thoroughbred horse racing, racehorse who was the ninth winner of the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing (United States), American Triple Crown, setting and still holding the fastest time record in all three of its constituent races. He became the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years and his record-breaking victory in the 1973 Belmont Stakes, Belmont Stakes, which he won by 31 Horse length, lengths, is often considered the greatest race ever run by a thoroughbred racehorse. The Secretariat Mosque is a mosque in Hyderabad, in the Hyderabad district of the state of Telangana, India. History Two mosques were located within the old secretariat complex, named Masjid-e-Hashmi and Masjid Dafatir-e-Mautamadi. These mosques were demolished by the government to construct the new Secretariat building. To replace these mosques, the government announced the construction of a mosque, spread across at a cost of Rs. 2.9 crore. The foundation stone was laid on November 25, 2021. Secretariat Park is an urban park at Chennai, India. The park is located opposite the Secretariat at Fort St. George on Rajaji Salai, near Chennai Port. History The park was originally an undeveloped land near the port with some trees. In 2009, Corporation of Chennai developed the land measuring into a park at a cost of 97.5 million. The park was inaugurated on 29 May 2009 by the then chief minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanithi.
