Sechs Kies
Sechs Kies (pronounced as ; ) is a first generation South Korean boy band. Making their debut on April 15, 1997, they are one of the first K-pop idol groups, credited with pioneering the idol scene and fandom culture. The group consists of the following members, Eun Ji-won, Lee Jai-jin, Kim Jae-duck, and Jang Su-won. Sechs Kies formally disbanded on May 20, 2000 after 3 years of activity. On April 14, 2016, the group reunited for a performance as part of the show ''Infinite Challenge''. On May 10, 2016, 5 of the 6 members signed a contract with YG Entertainment to continue promoting, while member Ko Ji-yong remained retired from the industry. After the release of the group's fifth full album, '' Another Light'', member Kang Sung-hoon also left the group in 2019. Eun Ji-won
Eun Ji-won (; born June 8, 1978) is a South Korean rapper, singer, actor and entertainer. He is the leader of the first generation idol group Sechs Kies (). He is recognized as an ancestor of the K-pop world, paving the way for hip-hop in the Korean pop scene. He is also considered an entertainment icon, popularly known as "Eun Choding" (Elementary Eun) for his childish on-screen persona on '' 1 Night 2 Days''. In addition to his music, he continues to appear in shows like '' New Journey to the West.'' Early life Eun Jiwon was born in Seoul, South Korea on June 8, 1978. ''Another Light'' is the fifth studio album of South Korean group Sechs Kies. The album was released on September 21, 2017, by the group's record label, YG Entertainment. It was the last album to feature member Sunghoon before his departure on January 1, 2019, from Sechskies and YG. The South Korean boy band Sechs Kies has released six studio albums, one extended play, four compilation albums, one live album, one musical album, and several singles. In August 2000, DSP was investigated by the police for allegations of tax evasion, embezzlement, and unequal contracts. DSP was cleared of suspicion. On the other hand, the National Tax Service conducted a tax audit of the corporation and collected additional hundreds of millions of won from it. Seo Taiji And Boys
() was a South Korean music group active from 1992 to 1996. The three members of the boy band, Seo Taiji, Yang Hyun-suk and Lee Juno, experimented with many different genres of popular Western music.
