Schools In Thailand
Schools in Thailand provide basic education, which covers pre-primary, primary and secondary education. Though most schools provide formal education following the National Curriculum, certain specialised schools may provide non-formal education. Most state schools operate under the auspices of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), local governments, or universities, while private schools operate under the oversight of the Office of the Private Education Commission. There are 37,175 schools in Thailand providing general education as of the 2011 academic year. These include 31,286 schools under the OBEC, 1,726 operated by local governments, 57 university demonstration schools, 414 Phrapariyatidhamma (Buddhist) schools and 3,679 private schools. A school is the educational institution (and, in the case of in-person learning, the Educational architecture, building) designed to provide learning environments for the teaching of students, usually under the direction of teachers. Most countries have systems of formal education, which is sometimes compulsory education, compulsory. Buriram Pittayakhom School
Buriram Pittayakhom School (Thai: โรงเรียนบุรีรัมย์พิทยาคม) is a secondary school located in downtown Buriram Province, Thailand. It admits secondary students (mathayom 1–6, equivalent to grades 7–12). Founded in 1904, it then became the first coeducational school in Buriram. The school's former names were "Buriram Witthayalai School" and "Satree Si Buriram School". The first school principal was Mr. Jake Sukpanya. Campus Buriram Pittayakhom School is located at 15 Niwas Rd., Muang District, Buriram Province. The school has more fifteen buildings, ten of which hold classrooms. American Pacific International School
American Pacific International School (, ) is a privately owned boarding school in Chiang Mai, Thailand with a kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, and high school. The school operates on two campuses. American Pacific International School Primary (APISP) is in suburban Chiang Mai while the main boarding campus (MBC) is 25 kilometers from the city center. APISP has pre-nursery to grade 6 and the MBC has grades 5–12. It is a fee paying school, that opened in 1997, and makes annual tuition charges of 480,000 baht, or 12,800 USD.
