Santa Monica College
Santa Monica College (SMC) is a Public university, public community college in Santa Monica, California. Founded as a Junior college#United States, junior college in 1929, SMC enrolls over 30,000 students in more than 90 fields of study. The college initially served pre-college Secondary education in the United States, high school students, eventually expanding its enrollment to educate college-age and non-traditional students with the intention to transfer to a four-year university. The college has high transfer rates to four-year universities such as the University of California and California State University campuses, being a leader among state community colleges in transfers to the former. Since its 1972 relaunch, the American television game show ''The Price Is Right'' has featured a number of models who present the prizes and items offered on the show. From 1972 to 2007, these models were popularly referred to as "Barker's Beauties" in reference to Bob Barker, the show's host during that period. Andrea Fay Friedman (June 1, 1970 – December 3, 2023) was an American actress. Early life Friedman was born in Santa Monica, California, in 1970. She attended West Los Angeles Baptist High School and Santa Monica College. Clifford Glen Eidelman (born December 5, 1964) is an American composer and conductor who has scored films including '' Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country'', '' Free Willy 3: The Rescue'', and '' Christopher Columbus: The Discovery''. Career Eidelman began his formal training in violin at the age of eight and continued with multi-instrument training ranging from piano and guitar in genres such as jazz to classic music in his youth.
