STU48 Members
STU48 (Setouchi48) is a Japanese idol group and sister group of AKB48 named after the Setouchi Region. The group had a from 2019 to 2021. It is co-owned by the tourism board of Setouchi Region and is highly involved in their promotional efforts. The group's captain is Azumi Okada and the vice captain is Akari Fukuda. History 2016–2017: Foundation The formation of STU48 was announced in October 2016. The application period for new members was open from January to February 5, 2017. AKB48 members Mayu Watanabe and Yuki Kashiwagi visited the governments of seven Setouchi prefectures (Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Ehime, Hyogo, Okayama, Tokushima and Kagawa) between them to promote the auditions. On February 22, it was announced that Nana Okada of AKB48 and Rino Sashihara of HKT48 would be concurrent members of STU48 and respectively hold the positions of captain and theater manager. Setouchi Region
The , or simply Setouchi, is a geographic region of Japan. Setouchi includes the Seto Inland Sea and the adjacent coastal areas of Honshū, Shikoku, and Kyūshū, three of the four main islands of Japan. 11gatsu No Anklet
is the 50th single by AKB48, released on November 22, 2017. The song was performed during CDTV's Halloween Special Festival and Mayu Watanabe's graduation concert before its release. The coupling song "Ikiru koto ni Nekkyou wo" was performed on the group's variety show AKBingo! on October 4, 2017. It is also Mayu Watanabe's last single appearance with the group. Release and Promotion The CD was released in various editions: five limited editions (Type A, Type B, Type C, Type D and Type E) as well as five regular editions (Type A, B, C, D and E) and a Theater Edition. The center for this single is Mayu Watanabe and this is her last single as an AKB48 member. A short version for the music was released on YouTube on October 29, 2017. Japan Record Awards
is a major music awards show, held annually in Japan that recognizes outstanding achievements in the Japan Composer's Association. Established in 1959, the Japan Record Awards are one of the oldest and most prestigious music awards in the country.
