Saint Lucia Football Association
The Saint Lucia Football Association is the governing body of football (soccer), football in Saint Lucia. The FA was founded in 1979, the same year the island gained independence, and is headquartered in Castries, the nation's capital. It runs the Saint Lucia men's and women's junior and senior national teams, as well as its domestic football competitions, which include both men's and women's professional leagues and youth championships. In international competition, Saint Lucia's football teams have had some modest success against their Caribbean neighbors, but beyond that geographical area their experience is quite limited. In fact, when the men's team faced Panama in qualifying for the Football World Cup 2006, 2006 FIFA World Cup, it marked the first time they had ever played an opponent outside the Caribbean zone. The 2017 SLFA First Division was the 39th season of top-division association football in Saint Lucia. A total of seven teams participated in the competition, with last season's champions Survivals FC not participating. The title was won by Northern United All Stars. Kegan Caull
Kegan Montgomery Caull (born 20 March 2004 in Vieux Fort) is a Saint Lucian footballer who plays as a forward for Europa Point and the Saint Lucia national team. Youth career Caull had played for VSADC since at least the under-15 level in 2017. In 2018 his goal against the U17 team of FC Pioneers propelled VSADC into the league final. He was named the top junior male footballer by the Saint Lucia Football Association in 2019. That year he scored two goals against New Generation FC in the U18 League Grand-Final. VSADC were crowned league champions following the 3–1 victory. Caull also won the Golden Boot award for his age division that season. He was named SLFA Junior Male Footballer of the Year again for a second straight year in 2020 after he was named MVP of his club and the U15 and U17 leagues. Northern United All Stars is a Saint Lucian professional football club based in Gros Islet, that competes in the SLFA First Division, the highest division of Saint Lucian football league system. The club participated in the 2011 CFU Club Championship, playing in the first elimination stage of the Preliminary phase.
